How many of us are happy? How many can look into their heart and say they are satisfied with everything they have in life, and not wanting anything more? How many of us find bliss? I guess, the number is not many.
You ever wonder why? I do. Because, we are not happy from the inside of our heart. I was one of those with a bottomless pit for a heart. There was a time, I couldn’t remember the last time I was happy with my life. There always had been something to regret inside me. It’s not like I did this on purpose. It’s just my internal wiring I suppose. Then one day, a famous quotation crossed my mind.

Art is something we do to make us happy! It is an expression of our thoughts, feelings, instincts, and desires, yet it is much more individual than that. It’s about sharing the way we experience the world every day in our life. It is a unique way for people to communicate and gain understanding, as well as heal and express themselves.

 

 

You don’t have to be an artist or a professional to feel the happiness, the satisfaction inside it. Essentially doing art is everything. It can include things like painting, dirt work or decorating our house with beautiful arts.

 

 

In our world, a person can be disturbed not by a thing, but by their perception of a thing. Some people have the rare ability to cope remarkably well with the pressures in their lives. They know when they have to take time out or look at the situation differently for finding a solution. Unfortunately, many more people have not the ability to cope with stress in ways that are actually self-destructive. In that case, art is the most significant way to deal with mental or emotional distress! It is a therapy of mind, a therapy of soul. It can give us all the happiness in this world.

 

 

Activities such as painting, drawing or photography can be relaxing and rewarding hobbies which can lower our stress levels. It can also make a feeling of mentally clear and calm. Sometimes, creating art provides a distraction to our mind. But it can also be enjoyed in some other ways. Being present at the art galleries, understanding about the nature of art or learn to express our feelings through art can give us extraordinary result!

 

 

Sometimes, owning an artwork has a positive effect on people who own it, which inevitably makes life more beautiful and happy. It inspires us observe the world in a different way. It is also an environmentally-friendly form of enjoyment which can reduce mental and emotional distress.  Experiencing art also provide us the reason to think, inspiration to get up and dance, to cheer our mood. It gives us a release from all sort of distress dancing in our mind.

 

 

Art is a medium to express thoughts and to share ideas. It offers us a strategy to convey what we may not really completely understand or know how to express. Art helps us to share thoughts and dreams that will be unable to be articulated some other way. So, let’s learn to appreciate ourselves. Let’s change. Only then can our restless hearts finally find peace.
